I’m honored to join 34 of my crochet designer colleagues in the Crochet for Me Lace Bundle: 46 individual patterns, never before offered in a bundle or for free, that will give you a wide range of patterns to suit your lacy fancy.

This crochet bundle includes a variety of patterns: hats, headbands, tees, shawls, a dress, jewelry, even a lacy pillow!

And bringing up the rear…debuting my Spring & Summer Scarf!

This beauty was a long time coming, designed in Kristin Omdahl’s Be So Sporty Passionate Plum, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect!

You get all 46 patterns featured in this bundle for only $25. That’s less than 55 cents per pattern! But the offer is only available through April 21, 2021, 11:59 PM Eastern, and it absolutely will not be extended nor repeated.

Get my Spring & Summer Scarf and whip up sumpin’ lacy for yourself!

If you purchased these patterns individually they would cost you well over $200. And by buying from a coalition of designers like this instead of a huge publisher, you know that your money is going where it’s needed – into the pockets of your favorite designers so they can keep on creating the patterns you love to make.

Need more incentive? Once you gain access to the bundle patterns you ALSO get a file with extra discount codes for additional products offered by some of these amazing designers. And there’s a 15-day money-back guarantee so you have absolutely nothing to lose.

Pssst…hey knitters…there’s a bundle for you too! Once you make a bundle purchase, you’ll have the option to include the knit bundle also, so for those of us who knit and crochet, you don’t have to choose…win-win!

Can you think of a better way to support your community, get a head start on your warm-weather crafting, and make something for…YOU!

Be sure to #BundleUp by Wednesday, April 21!

The best of intentions (or what had happened was…)

It’s March already, which is Women’s History Month and National Craft Month (more specifically National CROCHET Month). My grand plans went awry for the project I wanted to do in celebration of crochet!

On the heels of my EPIC fail, I could use your input for how I can best serve my tribe, so…

Please email me with what you’d like from your crochet community: content, classes…everything and anything in between. I will do my best to take a consensus and filter that through my skills and bandwidth to give my peeps what they want and need.

Looking forward to hearing your ideas, comments, suggestions, etc.

Until next time…

Von

Thank you STITCHES Expo at Home!

I’m indebted to #TeamSTITCHES for always making me feel like family and having such a well-rounded and engaging event; I’m already looking forward to the next one!

An extra-special thank you to my students for giving me such great ‘aha’ moments, and challenged me to expand even further.

#ItsNotJustYarn

Thank you Knit City Canada!

Sending a big shout-out to Amanda and Fiona, the organizers of the Knit City Virtual event where I was invited to teach (on referral by Romi Hill) for the first time!

I’d also like to give a giant thank you to the students! Please follow me on Instagram (@vcbcrochet); I’d love to see your work!

I’m already looking forward to coming back. 🙂

About Me 2.0

Fast forwarding from 2009 to catch you up: a lot of stuff happened! #understatement

It’s now 2021…thankfully!!!

That being said, my major #PandemicPivots were as follows:

  • retirement after 20 years for a total of 40 years in the workforce
  • parlaying my office, admin and tech skills into a full-time Virtual Assistance business
  • building my crochet business full-time
    • teaching crochet online
    • designing featuring indie dyer yarns

ALL of these were goals, but I had no idea I’d get to pull off a trifecta, especially under less than optimum circumstances!

Having time to give everything a good once-over, I’m restructuring and streamlining. I will be the change I want to see and grow the type of community I’d want to be a part of…so come along for the ride!
